Poland's LGBTQ+ community infrastructure is concentrated in Warsaw, but every major Polish city has a PKD testing point and a szpital zakaźny for PEP emergencies. Private clinic chains (LuxMed, Medicover) operate nationally. Here's the regional picture.

Kraków

Kraków is Poland's cultural capital and has an active gay community despite conservative political pressures.

For PEP: Szpital Uniwersytecki w Krakowie — Klinika Chorób Zakaźnych Śniadeckich 5, Kraków Go to the SOR for PEP. The infectious disease department is experienced with HIV-related emergencies.

For testing: PKD points operate in Kraków — check aids.gov.pl/pkd for current addresses and hours. Private labs (Diagnostyka, Alab, Synevo) are present throughout the city for comprehensive panels.

PrEP: LuxMed and Medicover have clinics in Kraków. Use the vetting approach from Doctor Vetting. Lambda Warszawa may have Kraków-specific referrals.

Community: Kraków's LGBTQ+ scene has its own organisations — check local social media and KPH contacts for current resources.

Wrocław

For PEP: Szpital Specjalistyczny im. A. Falkiewicza Warszawska 2, Wrocław Infectious disease department. SOR for emergency PEP access.

For testing: PKD Wrocław — aids.gov.pl/pkd for current location. All major private lab chains have Wrocław presence.

PrEP: LuxMed Wrocław or Medicover Wrocław. Wrocław has historically been one of the more progressive Polish cities.

Poznań

For PEP: Szpital Kliniczny Przemienienia Pańskiego UM w Poznaniu Długa 1/2, Poznań — infectious disease department

For testing: PKD Poznań — aids.gov.pl/pkd. Diagnostyka, Alab present in Poznań.

PrEP: LuxMed/Medicover Poznań.

Trójmiasto (Gdańsk / Gdynia / Sopot)

For PEP: Szpital Specjalistyczny im. Karola Marcinkowskiego Infectious disease department in Gdańsk.

For testing: PKD Trójmiasto — aids.gov.pl/pkd. Private lab presence throughout the tri-city area.

Note: Gdańsk/Sopot have a more liberal atmosphere than much of Poland, given their port city history and younger population.

Łódź

For PEP: Szpital im. dr W. Biegańskiego — Klinika Chorób Zakaźnych Kniaziewicza 1/5, Łódź — infectious disease SOR

For testing: PKD Łódź, private labs throughout city.

LuxMed nationwide: luxmed.pl — clinics in every major city. Corporate non-discrimination policy.

Private labs: Diagnostyka, Alab, Synevo all have nationwide networks.

Lambda Warszawa remotely: lambdawarszawa.org — even if you're in Kraków or Wrocław, Lambda can provide remote support and may have regional contacts.
