The Caveat: This protection does not cover large quantities that imply trafficking, nor does it protect against outstanding warrants. However, for standard personal possession, the law is designed to encourage you to save a life without fear of arrest. Make the call.
💉 Harm Reduction and Narcan
Naloxone (Narcan) reverses opioid overdoses (which are increasingly common due to fentanyl contamination in party drugs like cocaine and meth).
- Where to get it: Florida operates a statewide program making Narcan available to the public. You can get it for free at most county health departments (FDOH) and many community organizations (like Care Resource or Metro Inclusive Health).
