VAD (Vlaamse Instelling voor Alcohol- en Drugproblemen)

The Flemish centre for alcohol and drug issues. Coordinates addiction services across Flanders and provides a service finder. Website: vad.be

FEDITO BXL / Eurotox (Brussels and Wallonia)

For French-speaking Belgium and Brussels. Coordinates harm reduction services and can signpost to substance use support. fedito-bxl.be

General Addiction Services

Both Flanders and Wallonia have networks of free addiction counselling centres (Centra voor Geestelijke Gezondheidszorg / Centres de Santé Mentale). Self-referral is possible. Contact your local commune or municipality for the nearest centre.

Drug Checking

No widespread national drug checking service in Belgium. Energy Control (Spain, energycontrol.org) accepts postal samples. Some harm reduction events in Brussels and Antwerp offer on-site checking — check Ex Aequo for upcoming opportunities.
